Bill Bainbridge Named Senior Vice President of Product for Voya’s Annuities and Individual Life businesses

“Bill has been a vital member of our product team for the past 12 years, having helped us improve the value and quality of the products that we offer,” said Johnson. “He’s been instrumental in helping us transform our product portfolio. In this year alone, Bill oversaw key aspects of the development of our new Voya Journey Index Annuity and Voya Select Advantage Advisory IRA Mutual Fund Custodial Account as well as a new Cash-Value Flex Rider for our Voya Indexed Universal Life – Global Choice product. We have a talented product team developing valuable solutions that enable our distribution partners to help Americans get ready to retire better, and I’m looking forward to working even closer with Bill to continue this work.”

Most recently, Bainbridge served as vice president of pricing for Voya’s Annuities and Individual Life businesses since November 2016. Previously, he oversaw product development for the company’s Annuities business since December 2013. In this role, he helped contribute to increases in sales and return on capital in the Annuities business, working closely with members of the company’s distribution, risk management and finance areas. He joined Voya as a senior actuarial associate in August 2005. Bainbridge began his career at Buck Consultants as an associate in June 2003.

Bainbridge received bachelor’s degrees in both actuarial science and economics from Lebanon Valley College. He is a fellow of the Society of Actuaries and holds the chartered enterprise risk analyst designation. In 2016, Bainbridge was recognized by LIMRA as a “Rising Star” in the financial services industry.
