In 2014, BGI’s founder and chief executive officer, Randy Clark, approached Helvie about transitioning the shop’s ownership to the former employee. With more than 15 years of industry experience under his belt, Helvie now co-owns BGI with Clark and manages day-to-day operations at BGI’s chief operations officer.
