Bob Cooper is Canadian Business Tribune''s senior editor. He is also a nationally syndicated newspaper columnist and a bestselling author. He lives in London Ontario and covers the intersection of money, politics and finance. He appears periodically on national television shows and has been published in (among others) The National Post, Politico, The Atlantic, Harper’s, Wired.com, Vice and Salon.com. He also has served as a journalist and consultant on documentaries for CBC and Global News . In 2014, he was the winner of the Society of American Business Editors and Writers' investigative journalism award, and the winner of the Izzy Award for Journalism from Ithaca College's Park Center for Independent Media. He was also a finalist for UCLA's Gerald R. Loeb Award and Syracuse University's Mirror Award. Before becoming a journalist in 2006, Sirota worked in Washington for, among others, U.S. Rep. Bernie Sanders, the U.S. House Appropriations Committee Minority Staff and the Center for American Progress.

Marcus is a reporter on the Political Capital team focusing on money in politics. Before joining Canadian Business Tribune, he worked as a researcher and writer for the Institute for Northern Studies at Lakehead University in Thunder Bay Ontario and as a freelance journalist in Toronto, having been published by over 20 outlets including CBC, the Center for Media and Democracy,The Huffington Post, Salon, Truthout and VICE.com.

Maria Avery is a Viral News Editor who graduated from Ryerson University. She likes social media trends, being semi-healthy, Buffalo Wild Wings and vodka with lime. When she isn’t writing, Maria loves to travel. She last went to Thailand to play with elephants and is planning a trip to Bali.

Sarah Tulowitzki is a financial reporter, focusing on technology, national security, and policing. Before joining Canadian Business Tribune she worked as a staff writer at Fast Company and spent two years as a foreign correspondent in Turkey. Her work has been published in Al Jazeera America, The Nation, Vice News, Motherboard, and many other outlets.
